Fozi town belongs to Lingshan County, Qinzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is located in the east of Lingshan County, 8 kilometers away from the seat of the county government. It is adjacent to Fuwang town in Pubei County in the East, Xinxu town in the south, Lingcheng town in the West and Pingshan Town in the north.
Fozi town has a total area of 168.18 square kilometers. At the end of 2013, it has one community, 17 administrative villages and a total population of 66433 (2017). Historical evolution
In 1888, the Buddhist school was under the jurisdiction of pingshanlian. in 1927, the district township was changed into the third district, with jurisdiction over Sansheng Township, Xinhua Township, Fanglan Township and longfu township. In 1957, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. Fozi Township governs 10 small townships. In July 1958, Longyuan township was merged into Fozi township. In August 1958, the Buddhist people's commune was established. in September 1984, the people's commune was abolished and the township (town) system was restored. on January 1, 1994, the county realized the town system, and Fozi township was renamed Fozi town.

In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), Fozi began to become a Polder. The streets were 200 meters long and 2.5 meters wide, all covered with silt. In 1909, the first year of Xuantong in the Qing Dynasty, there was a private school in Fozi. Yongji primary school was located in Dalu village. In the sixth year of the Republic of China (1917), Fozi primary school in Shenghua township was established. The school is located in shihuipu of Fozi, with 25 students and 1 teacher. In 1948, it was renamed Shenghua Township Central School and moved to Funing Temple (now in the government of Fozi town). In 1952, it was renamed Fozi Township Central School in the third district.
