Caoping Hui Nationality Village

Caoping Hui nationality township was established on September 29, 1984. It belongs to Yanshan District, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China, and is located on the East Bank of Lijiang River in Guilin city. It is adjacent to Dawu town of Lingchuan County in the northeast and Yangshuo County in the south. With a total area of 29.52 square kilometers, the township has three village committees and one neighborhood committee. By the end of 2017, there were 5411 permanent residents, the only Hui nationality township in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

The township government is located 35 kilometers away from Guilin City, close to the starting cruise terminal of Lijiang River scenic tour - Mopanshan neibin terminal and Zhujiang foreign guest terminal. The Lijiang River scenic line winds its way 10 kilometers away.

Economic situation

Six fruit bases including Ginkgo biloba, Shatian pomelo, Yueshi, seedless wampee, Nanfang high-quality pear, Daguo Bayberry and two demonstration bases of 200 mu contiguous vegetables have been established along the DACAO highway; the "Qixing Lake" breeding base of the national science and technology training center has been built, and two large-scale broiler breeding and pig breeding farms have been established respectively. In 2002, the per capita net income of farmers was 1908 yuan, an increase of 202 yuan over the previous year. In 2013, the township achieved a fiscal revenue of 4.52 million yuan, 3.5 times higher than that in 2004; the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery reached 63.21 million yuan, 2.1 times higher than that in 2004; the per capita net income of farmers was 7832 yuan, 2.4 times higher than that in 2004.

Travel

Caoping Hui nationality township has beautiful scenery and rich tourism resources. It is close to the inner guest Wharf in Mopan Mountain of Lijiang River and the outer guest Wharf in Zhujiang River. The beautiful water of Lijiang River winds through the territory for 10 kilometers. The beautiful scenery of the whole town, the Wangfu mountain, the nine cattle watching the three rivers and the crown rock and other Lijiang essence scenic spots are not collected here. They are known as "a pearl on the green belt". Caoping Hui nationality township has a long cultural history and traditional festivals: gurbanjie and Eid al Fitr. In the Qianjing village committee, where the Hui people live in large numbers, there is a mosque rebuilt in the ninth year of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty, in which there is a monument written by Bai Chongxi in 1940.
