Xihe town

Xihe town belongs to Shiquan County, Ankang City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the southeast of Shiquan County, it borders Chengguan town by Fenghuang Mountain in the East, Hanyang town of Hanyin County in the south, ironing town in the west, houliu town and Chihe town in the north. The maximum distance between East and West is 19 km, and the maximum distance between North and south is 13.5 km. The total area is 139.64 square kilometers.

Historical evolution

The Hanjiang River flows through here, its bank is circuitous, deep and wide, and it looks like plum blossom. It was called Meihu town in the Qing Dynasty. Later, because "Mei" and "Mei" are homonymous, it became "Xihe".
