CaoShi Town, subordinate to Qingyuan Manchu Autonomous County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Qingyuan Manchu Autonomous County, bordering Dawan township of Meihekou city in Jilin Province in the East, hengdaohe town of Dongfeng County in Jilin Province in the south, yingemen town and Nanshan Town in the South and West, and tukouzi Township in the north. It covers an area of 152.26 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of the registered residence in the town was 15518.
In 1925, the Qing Dynasty was divided into four districts. In September 1958, the commune was established. In September 1983, the township was changed. In January 1985, the township was transformed into a town. As of June 2020, CaoShi town has jurisdiction over 1 community and 16 administrative villages, and its people's government is located at No. 3, Shifu Road, CaoShi street.
