Dongchang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Qinnan District, Qinzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast coast of Qinzhou City, 28 kilometers away from Qinzhou City. Dongnali town is adjacent to Xichang Town, Hepu County, Beihai city across the sea, xidapanpo town and rhinoceros foot town are adjacent to Sanniangwan administrative area in the south, and Shabu town is connected to the north. Its total area is 181 square kilometers. The coastline is 42 kilometers long.
In the pre Qin period, it belonged to Baiyue. Qing Dynasty, belongs to Qinzhou. In September 1984, when Nali commune was abolished, Dongchang township was set up, belonging to Qinzhou City. In September 1993, Dongchang township was changed into Dongchang town. In October 1994, Dongchang town was changed to Qinnan District of Qinzhou City. By the end of 2018, Dongchang town had a total population of 5353 households, a total of 22263 people. As of June 2020, Dongchang town has 7 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of Dongchang town is located at 107 fengjiang road.
In 2018, Dongchang town completed 20 million yuan of fixed assets investment, 1.9978 million yuan of fiscal and tax revenue, 12617 yuan of per capita disposable income of farmers, and 2 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the pre Qin period, it belonged to Baiyue.
After Qin Shihuang unified China, Dongchang town was under the jurisdiction of Xiang county.
From Han Dynasty to Jin Dynasty, Dongchang town belonged to Hepu County of Jiaozhou.
At the end of the Southern Dynasty, Yuanjia was set up as the end of Shoujun, and Anzhou was set up in the Liang Dynasty.
From 535, the first year of Liang Datong in the northern and Southern Dynasties to the early Northern Song Dynasty, it belonged to Yushan County, Wulei County, Ninghai County and Anjing county.
From the fifth year of Kaibao in the Song Dynasty (972) to the fourteenth year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1888), the Fengfeng River in the township was the boundary. Lingshan County was to the east of the river, and Anyuan County, Qinzhou, Qinxian and Qinzhou were to the west of the river.
Qing Dynasty, belongs to Qinzhou.
In 1930, it belonged to Erjia and Nali townships of Qin county. In 1941, it belonged to Yinghuan and Nali townships of Qin county.
In the spring of 1951, it was divided into six small townships in Nali township.
In 1957, six small townships were merged into Dongchang township.
In the autumn of 1958, it was incorporated into Sanna commune.
In June 1961, Dongchang commune was reestablished.
In March 1963, it was incorporated into Nari commune.
In September 1984, when Nali commune was abolished, Dongchang township was set up, belonging to Qinzhou City.
In September 1993, Dongchang township was changed into Dongchang town.
In October 1994, Dongchang town was changed to Qinnan District of Qinzhou City.
