Jindu town is located in the southeast of Gaoyao District, Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province. It is close to Gaoyao District in the west, only 5km away from Gaoyao City Center. It faces Duanzhou District of Zhaoqing City across the river in the north, Langgang town of Gaoyao District in the East, and Baitu town of Gaoyao District in the south. At the construction site, six red drilling machines were placed on six cofferdam platforms, and nine large trucks loaded with steel casings were neatly parked on the side of the long dam. According to Yang Peijun, project manager of Yuejiang Bridge Project Department of Shanghai urban construction road and bridge group, the project has been ready to start after 8 months of preparation. The project is planned to be completed by the end of September 2015.

The reporter learned that the approved estimate of Yuejiang bridge project is 1.297 billion yuan, and the cost of the main bridge project undertaken by Shanghai urban construction road and Bridge Group is 750 million yuan. The project is located at the intersection of Guta road and Xinghu Avenue in Duanzhou District on the North Bank of Xijiang River. It crosses Xijiang River along Guta road and connects with Century Avenue in Gaoyao Wurong village on the south bank. The river width of the bridge is about 1500 meters. The main bridge is designed as a three span cable-stayed bridge with double pylons and single cable plane, with a main span of 320 meters. The viaduct main line at both ends of the main bridge is set with two-way six lanes, and the design maximum speed is 60 km / h.

After the Yuejiang bridge is opened to traffic, it will realize the goal of 15 minutes' drive from Gaoyao district to Duanzhou District, which is of great strategic significance to promote the economic development of Zhaoqing City.
