Evolution of organizational system

In 1904, it was the Sixth District of the fourth class of Gaoyao County; in 1928, it was the Fourth District of Gaoyao County; in July 1959, Guangli people's commune was established. In 1983, the community was removed to build the District, and in 1986, the town was built; in February 2002, it was renamed the street.

Guangli street is located in the middle of Dinghu District, on the North Bank of Xijiang River, adjacent to Yong'an town in the East, Guicheng Street in the west, Xijiang River in the south, across the river from Shapu Town, and Fenghuang town in the north. It covers a total area of 28 square kilometers. It is a plain area with high terrain in the northwest and low terrain in the southeast.
