history
Name source
In history, the cattle market was established by Xie family, and then became a place for pig production and distribution, so it was called "cattle market"
Guanzhuling
Later, because "Guanzhu" and "Guanzhu" are homophonic in ancient Chinese, it was changed to Guanzhu.
According to Guo Jianhui, a folklore expert, Guanzhu got its name from
Carrying pig ridge
. The reason why it is called qianzhuling is that there are no pig shops in Daya, Lintou, Xiadong, Shalang and Mata, and all the pigs raised by the villagers are brought to watch the Pearl for sale, so it is named qianzhuling. Later, in order to make it sound good, I changed carrying pigs to watching pearls.
Whether guanzhuling or qianzhuling, the name of Guanzhu is related to pigs. Now, guanzhuwei has built a small ear flower pig trading market, and Guanzhu town is the key development area of small ear flower pig industry in Maoming.
