Fengwei was originally a peninsula. Fengwei city was built in the 20th year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty, and its size was small. During the Renshen period of Longqing, the city was surrounded by buildings, dredged ditches to protect the city, compatible with folk houses, and four gates were set up in the southeast and northwest. During the reign of the Kuomintang, the magnificent city wall was demolished by the Kuomintang government, leaving only four city gates to be identified. In addition, the primary school, which was in real financial difficulties, was also demolished for infrastructure construction. As a result, the whole city wall almost disappeared. After a series of artificial destruction and wind and rain erosion, Fengcheng is now "no city".
However, during the Anti Japanese War, when the national economy was seriously lagging behind, the economy of Fengwei was booming, which can be called a miracle.
At that time, Japan carried out a comprehensive blockade of China's coastal areas. The fishermen in the coastal areas who made a living by the sea could hardly go out to sea to catch fish, and their economy was very backward. However, Fengwei fishermen, relying on their extraordinary wit, bravery and navigation skills, avoided the enemy's blockades and just opened a rather unique maritime trade route. The merchant ships headed by the Liu family owned more than 180 small white fishing boats of 60-80 DWT and 48 large wooden boats of 300-1600 DWT. Most of them operated in the form of joint-stock system, carrying sugar, salt, cloth and other commodities to and from Shenjiamen, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Chongqing, Guangdong, Shandong, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and other places all the year round. They also bought necessary materials from those places and transported them back At that time, there was a "Customs" at the end of the peak.
The high profits of maritime trade not only make the fishermen and farmers in Fengwei become shareholders, but also attract businessmen from Jinjiang, Nan'an, Anxi, Putian, Xianyou and other provinces to participate in and consign. There are shops, restaurants and teahouses in the city. There are 23 shops in the small Fengwei City, and there are more than 60 shops such as cloth shops, medicine shops, restaurants and teahouses. The famous "shenjiamenxing" and "taiwanxing" merchant ships are well-known at home and abroad, attracting many merchants to trade, participate in shares or set up their own shops. In Fengwei City, there are many merchants, shops, boats and cars. At night, the orchestra plays and sings. All night long, the gramophone rings incessantly, and Puxian opera is performed from time to time. At that time, it is crowded and bustling, just like a city that never sleeps. It is known as "little Shanghai". When the surrounding merchants come to Fengwei for trade, they can eat and live for free, which shows that Fengwei's economic prosperity at that time is also a miracle at that time.
As time goes by, the former prosperity has become a thing of the past. Now in this ancient city, the coastal passage passes through the city, and a new petrochemical port new city is rising by the sea. There are hundreds of families living on both sides of the ancient street, many of whom still make a living by fishing and driving wooden sailboats to the sea. Under the setting sun, the leisurely old man is sitting in front of the door. The sunshine of the winter day hits him and passes away a period of leisurely time. The former flashiness has faded into a period of plain days, flowing slowly at the door.
Historical celebrities
When he was young, Lu Ren was a teacher of Zhang nanxuan. He took heart and nature as the foundation, respected natural principles, restrained human desires, and cultivated self-cultivation. Lu rentong, a scholar of classics, history and ancient prose, detested the decadent style of writing since the Five Dynasties, highly praised Han Yu and his articles, and tried his best to pursue the simple, plain and bright style of writing. Lu Ren lost his mother and was extremely filial to his father. He has a kind and dignified personality. From young to old, he never uttered a word of vulgar playfulness, and he never touched any of the common bad habits of common people. He never slackened in educating his children and grandchildren. It is worth mentioning that Lu Ren is in charge of a big family with several generations. In a big family, uncles and nephews are like father and son, and the clothes of men and women are simple but neat; no one in the big family has private money, and no one spends it privately. All of us are conscientious and diligent in our duties and attribute all the gains to the big family. All this is the result of Lu Ren's benevolence and righteousness.
Lu Jie, the eldest daughter of Lu Ren, married Cai Xiu, a famous family in Fengting. Lu Jie was born in a famous family. He was kind-hearted, generous and courteous. His fourth son, second son Cai Xiang, and third son Cai Gao were all Jinshi. His second son, Cai Xiang, became a famous official of the same generation and was named Zhonghui after his death.
Lu Renzi, Lu Chuan, was the same age as his nephew Cai Xiang. He studied in Jielu of fuhuyan temple in Kunshan during the reign of Emperor Taizong of Song Dynasty (1017-1021). Today, on the cliffs of Huyan temple in Kunshan, there are still the four characters "Fuhu Wonderland" engraved by Cai Xiang when he was the governor of Quanzhou. Fuhu rock in Kunshan is not so magnificent, but it is famous for Cai Xiang. It is in line with the famous saying that "mountains are not high, immortals are famous; water is not deep, dragons are spirit". Lu Chuan was good at righteousness in his life. He was willing to help people in danger and poverty, and was enthusiastic about public welfare. He didn't like fame in his life, so he used cloth clothes all his life. When Cai Xiang built the Luoyang Bridge, Lu Kuan generously pledged and accepted Cai Xiang's invitation to take on the responsibility of managing the bridge building affairs
