Zhangpu town is under the jurisdiction of Wuchuan City, Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province. It is located in the downstream of Jianjiang River, the largest river in western Guangdong Province. The town is adjacent to Changqi, Zhenwen and Tangzhui in the East, South and west of Wuchuan, respectively, and has a subtropical monsoon climate.
