Duhu town
Duhu town is a town under the jurisdiction of Taishan City. It is located in the southeast of Taishan City. It is adjacent to Huangmaohai (the inner sea of South China Sea) at Yamen in the East, and faces Zhuhai across the sea. It borders Chixi town and Doushan town in the South and West, Chonglou town and Sijiu town in the northwest and North, and yamen town in Xinhui City in the northeast. It is 40 km away from Taishan City and 186 km away from Guangzhou. The coastline of the town is 12.7 km long.

Historical evolution
Duhu town was a short cave capital in Ming and Qing Dynasties. During the period of the Republic of China, it was first called the twelfth district and then the third district. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was changed into 12 districts. In 1958, Doushan commune was established together with Doushan and Chonglou. In 1959, Duhu commune was established. In 1984, it was changed into a district. In 1986, it was withdrawn from the district to build a town. Beifeng mountain and Nanfeng mountain in the town area are hills and mountains composed of granite and loess, which are respectively arranged on the north and south sides. Lanluozha Taizi mountain and Niushan mountain in the West are the veins of Beifeng mountain and Nanfeng mountain respectively, which encircle the broad Duhu plain into shauji type and face the Huangmao sea at yamen Haikou in the East. The altitude of the mountain is 500-800 meters, and the highest is 986 meters. The hills are distributed at the foot of the mountain. The slope of the mountain ranges from 30 ° to 40 ° and the upper part of the mountain ranges from 70 ° to 80 ° forming a state of steep top to gentle bottom. The ridge line fluctuates in a zigzag shape. The foot of the mountain is a hilly platform, and the rest is a marine plain, inclined from west to East. The streams on Beifeng mountain flow from north to south into the plain and then turn to the East. Most of the streams on Nanfeng mountain flow from south to North into the plain and then turn to the East. Duhu River (known as Tanxi River in ancient times) originates from the mountains in the northwest of Duhu Town, flows southward to Niushan, turns to the East, collects north and South streams, runs through the middle of Duhu plain, and flows eastward into the sea.
