Qiaole Township
Qiaole township is a township under the jurisdiction of Anyi County, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. Located in the southernmost part of Anyi County, 20 kilometers away from the county seat and only 40 kilometers away from Nanchang City, the township governs five villagers' committees, namely qianze, qiaole, Maxi, shekeng and Shihu, and qiaole Township Forest Farm. By 2002, there were 85 villager groups and 73 natural villages.
In 2017, the administrative area was 5098 hectares, with 12945 permanent residents.
Historical evolution
In March 1952, Xinjian County was assigned to the Sixth District of Anyi. In January 1956, qiaole township was established. In 1958, qiaole commune was incorporated into Shibi commune. In 1961, qiaole commune was established. In 1968, qiaole commune was incorporated into Shibi commune. In January 1985, qiaole township was re established.

The township is adjacent to Xishan town in Xinjian County of Nanchang City in the East, big towns in Gao'an city in the south, Chitian and Songbu towns in Fengxin County in the west, and Shibi town in Anyi County in the north. Wanchi line, a provincial highway connecting "302" and "105" national highways, runs through the whole Township, with a total length of 24 km, 5 km away from national highway 320, 28 km away from Gao'an City, and 40 km away from Changbei Airport of Nanchang.
