Shouche town

Shouche town is located in the northwest of Yongshun County, 25 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Kesha Township in the East, shaoha Township in the south, Xiqi Township in the west, and longche Township and Tani Township in Longshan County in the north. It has a humid climate in the Middle Subtropical Mountainous Area, with an average annual temperature of 16.5 ℃, an annual rainfall of 1400mm and a frost free period of 270 days. The total area of the town is 118.11 square kilometers (2017), with 8747 mu of cultivated land, including 7530 mu of paddy fields. It has jurisdiction over 6 administrative villages, 2 neighborhood committees and 10782 people (in 2017). The territory is surrounded by mountains. Mengdong River passes through the territory from north to south. National Highway 209 runs through 6 villages of the town for 15 kilometers. Yongshun Liangcha township road runs through 4 villages from east to west. There is Ma'anshan reservoir on the water. The traffic is very convenient. In 2005, the GDP was 24.1 million yuan, including 22 million yuan of agricultural output value, 4159 tons of grain output and 1260 yuan of per capita net income of farmers.
