Suburban street, belonging to Liaozhong District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the west of Liaozhong District, adjacent to the urban area of Liaozhong District in the East, liujianfang town in the south, Taian County of Anshan City across the Liaohe River in the West and yangshibao town in the north, with a total area of 65.3 square kilometers.
In 1948, suburban streets belonged to the first district of Liaozhong County; in October 2009, suburban towns were transformed into towns. In 2017, suburban towns were abolished and suburban streets were set up. At the end of 2011, the total population of suburban streets was 16443. As of June 2020, suburban streets have jurisdiction over eight administrative villages.
In 2011, the total revenue of suburban streets was 10.035 million yuan, an increase of 64.8% over the previous year. The local fiscal revenue was 9.015 million yuan, an increase of 64.2% over the previous year. From the perspective of major taxes, 739000 yuan of business tax, 2224000 yuan of value-added tax and 1305000 yuan of enterprise income tax were completed.
History of construction
In 1948, suburban streets belonged to the first district of Liaozhong County.
In 1956, suburban township was established.
In 1964, the township changed into a commune.
In 1968, the Revolutionary Committee of suburban commune was established.
In February 1983, suburban communes were transformed into townships.
In October 2009, the suburbs were transformed into towns.
In 2017, suburban towns were abolished and suburban streets were set up.

The terrain is slightly higher in the West and lower in the East, higher in the north and lower in the south, with an altitude of 12-14 meters. The highest point is at dabangniu village, with an altitude of 14.3 meters; the lowest point is at xiaojiaweizi village, with an altitude of 11.1 meters.
hydrology
The rivers in suburban streets belong to Liaohe and Puhe River systems. The river section is about 16 kilometers long and the drainage area is about 128 square kilometers.

The main natural disasters in suburban streets are hail, drought, flood, wind, diseases and pests, lightning, etc. The most serious hail disaster occurred on July 20, 2002, involving six villages including xiaojiaweizi, fujiatun, shuangshanzi and xiawanzi, covering an area of 12000 mu.
