Shuiwen town
Shuiwen town (Zhuang: suijvwn, yuepin: seoi2man6), belonging to Cenxi City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of the people's Republic of China, is located in the southernmost part of Cenxi city and the intersection of the three counties (cities) of Guangdong and Guangxi, which is the South Gate of Cenxi city.
Shuiwen town was changed from people's commune to township in October 1984, and from township to town in August 1989. Now the town government is located in Shuiwen street. Shuiwen town is about 60 kilometers north of Cenxi city. G65 highway, 207 National Highway and nanshai second class highway run through the town.
In October 2016, Shuiwen town was successfully selected and became the third batch of demonstration towns in Guangxi. It is planned to build into a "business tourism ecological livable" town in three years.
Shuiwen town has a total area of 205.1 square kilometers, which is divided into Hedong District and Hexi District. The town area is about 3.8 square kilometers, with more than 50 streets and 41016 permanent residents (2017). Shuiwen Town, with 39000 returned overseas Chinese and their families, is the town with the largest number of Returned Overseas Chinese in Cenxi City, known as "hometown of overseas Chinese".

Shuiwen town is located in the southeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the southernmost tip of Wuzhou City. It is the South Gate of Cenxi City, adjacent to Jiayi Town, Luoding City, Guangdong Province in the East, Zhusha Town, Xinyi City, Guangdong Province in the South (13 km away), Guizi Town, Rong County, Yulin City in the west, Dalong town in the North (9 km away), Jitai community, Nandu town in the Northwest (formerly Jitai community, Cenxi city) Township).

Town history
Before liberation
Yongye county (now most of Cenxi city) was set up in Liang County in the Southern Dynasty. Agricultural economy developed and market trade took shape. From the Song Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty, some small-scale fairs were gradually formed, which mainly focused on agricultural products trading.
In 1337, the county was divided into seven townships: Shanghua Township and Xiahua township (now cencheng Town, Zhangmu Township and Malu town), Guiyi Township and Yongye township (now Guiyi Town, Daye Town, Jinzhu town and Chengjian town), and Liancheng Township, Xixiang Township and Nanxiang township (now Liancheng town)

Town construction
Shuiwen street is now the residence of the people's Government of Shuiwen town. Shuiwen was built in the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty. In the 10th year of Xianfeng, the street was paved with firebricks. In the late Qing Dynasty, the street was 240 meters long (that is, Shuiwen old street).
In 1929, the street was paved with concrete structure. In 1929, the street was 270 meters long.
After liberation, two new streets with a width of 8-15 meters and a length of 280-300 meters were gradually expanded.
Shuiwen bridge was built in 1976.
In 1990, the total length of the three streets was 850 meters, the total area of the built-up area was 13.3 hectares, and there were 3851 residents.
On September 28, 2015, the sewage treatment plant in Shuiwen town of Cenxi city was successfully put into trial operation.
Before the liberation of Shuiwen Town, the only public building was Shuiwen Town Central Primary School. After liberation, the number of local state administrative organs, enterprises and institutions has been increasing. In 1990, the public building area reached 63300 square meters, mainly including 7170 square meters

Hydropower stations are built on both rivers, and the hydropower development and power generation can reach 30 million kwh. Shuiwen town has a forest area of 15508 hectares and a living forest volume of 823200 cubic meters. Among them: 14324.1 hectares of timber forest, 1140 hectares of economic forest (600 hectares of star anise, 400 hectares of fast-growing Acacia mangium and Eucalyptus urophylla). The main forest by-products are raw pine, oleoresin and star anise. In 2005, the output of oleoresin was 1200 tons, star anise was 500 tons, and the export of logs was 4000 cubic meters.

Stone Temple
Shimiao scenic spot is located in Zhaoyang village, southwest of Shuiwen Town, Cenxi City, Wuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is about 8 kilometers from the town to the scenic spot. The relative height of Shimiao mountain is 580 meters, and the scenic area covers an area of 0.12 square kilometers.
The stone temple is surrounded by mountains, rolling and straight to the clouds. A stream from left to right around the foot of the mountain, connected with the Huanghua River, like a jade belt around the stone temple. A highway spirals up the stone temple mountain and leads to the top of the stone temple. On the stone temple mountain, the grotesque rocks are jagged, the strange peaks are protruding, and there are various forms. The flowers, plants and trees grow in the crevices of the stones, and the branches and leaves are luxuriant
