Pingdiquan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Chahar Right Wing Front Banner, Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the middle of Chahar Right Wing Front Banner, bordering Huangqihai town in the East, bayintala town and tuguiwula town in the south, shibatai town of Zhuozi County in the West and malinqu township of Jining District in the north, with an administrative area of 156.27 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, it was the place where Chahar right wing zhenghuang banner was stationed; in August 1964, it was assigned to Chayou Front Banner with 11 production teams; in 1984, it was changed into Pingdiquan township; in July 1994, Pingdiquan township was changed into town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Ping Di Quan town was 21377. As of June 2020, Pingdiquan town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 13 administrative villages.

History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, it was the place where Chahar rightwing zhenghuang banner was stationed.
During the period of the Republic of China, Fengzhen county was divided into three districts.
In September 1948, Jining county and zhenghuang banner were liberated and set up as the Fourth District of Jining county and Pingdiquan township.
In 1957, laopingdiquan Township, a suburb of Jining City, was established.
In September 1958, laopingdiquan township was transformed into Dongfanghong commune, with 9 production teams.
In August 1964, it was assigned to chayouqianqi, with 11 production teams.
In 1984, it was changed into Pingdiquan township.
In July 1994, Pingdiquan township was transformed into a town.
In 2001, No.3 town was merged into Pingdiquan town.
In September 2006, guerban township was merged into Pingdiquan town.
