Li Lisan's former residence is located in fukienwei village, Lujiang Township, Liling City, Hunan Province. Built in the 1880s, it covers an area of 2355 square meters and a construction area of 922 square meters. It is a single-layer courtyard style residential building with civil structure, with yellow wall, eight character chaimen, gate forehead titled "taro garden". Originally a property of others, it was purchased by Li Lisan's grandfather in 1891. Li Lisan's father and uncle were both scholars of the former Qing Dynasty, and both had private schools in his former residence. The couplet of the gate is "spring blossoms, autumn fruits, rising with each passing day". The main house is 15 meters away from chaimen.
