Pang's hometown, belonging to Dangchang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Dangchang county. It is connected with Bali Town in the East, Lichuan town in the south, Hadapu town in the west, Sigou Township and Chabu town in Min County in the northwest. It is 43 kilometers away from Dangchang County, with a total area of 64.72 square kilometers.
After 1949, Pang's hometown was divided into two townships, Pang's and Pang's; in October 1983, Pang's commune was changed into Pang's hometown. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Pang was 9288. As of June 2020, Pang's hometown has 10 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in Pangjia village.
Pang hometown's food crops are mainly potatoes and wheat; animal husbandry is mainly raising pigs, cattle, sheep and poultry. In 2018, Pang hometown has 13 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
After 1949, there were two townships in the territory, i.e. Jieli Township and Pangjia Township, and then Chalu township.
In September 1958, Shula Township, Lichuan town and Yang hometown jointly built Dongxing commune; in November of the same year, it was renamed Lichuan commune, and Pangjia and Shula were the management areas.
In 1961, Pang family commune was established.
In October 1983, Pang's commune was transformed into Pang's hometown.
