Ganjiangtou Township, belonging to Dangchang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the middle of Dangchang county. It is connected with Zhuyuan Township in the East, Guanting town in the south, linjiangpu town in the northwest and Nanyang town in the northeast. It is 18 kilometers away from Dangchang County, with a total area of 88 square kilometers.
Before 1949, ganjiangtou Township belonged to Dangchang Town, Min county. In October 1983, it was changed from ganjiangtou commune to ganjiangtou township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Gan Jiang tou township was 7051. As of June 2020, ganjiangtou township has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in xiejiaba village.
The main food crops in ganjiangtou township are wheat, corn and potato; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, sheep and poultry. In 2018, there was one industrial enterprise in ganjiangtou township.

Before 1949, it belonged to Dangchang Town, Minxian county.
In January 1950, ganjiangtou township was established.
In April 1961, ganjiangtou commune was established.
In October 1983, ganjiangtou commune was transformed into ganjiangtou township.
