Huanggainao Town, belonging to Guyuan County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the west of Guyuan County, bordering baituyao Township in the East, xixinying Township in the south, Jiulian town in the West and Taipusi Banner in Inner Mongolia in the north. It is 35 kilometers away from Guyuan County People's government, with a total area of 180.81 square kilometers.
In 1950, huanggainao town belonged to the Ninth District of Yuanxian County; in 1995, it was changed from huanggainao township to huanggainao town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Huang Gai Nao was 15645. As of June 2020, huanggainao town has 19 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in huanggainao village.

History of construction
In 1950, huanggainao town belonged to the Ninth District of Yuanxian county.
In 1958, it belonged to jiuliancheng commune.
In 1961, huanggainao commune was set up from jiuliancheng commune.
In 1984, huanggainao commune was changed into huanggainao township.
In 1995, it was changed from huanggainao township to huanggainao town.
