Chaoyang
Chaoyang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Huade County, Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the south of Huade County, bordering lijiadi Town, Kangbao County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province in the East, daheishatu Town, Shangdu County in the south, shibaqing Town, Shangdu County in the West and Changshun town in the north, with an administrative area of 534.62 square kilometers.
In January 1949, it belonged to Cuijiaying District of Huade County; in 1955, it belonged to Xinrong District; in February 1960, Huade Town, Xinrong and Nanlin merged to form Chaoyang commune; in April 2000, Chaoyang township was transformed into Chaoyang town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Chaoyang town was 25382. As of June 2020, Chaoyang town has 20 administrative villages.
The main food crops in Chaoyang town are wheat, naked oats and potatoes; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, sheep, cattle and poultry. In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Chaoyang town was 3400 yuan.
History of construction
In January 1949, it belonged to Cuijiaying District of Huade County.
In 1950, it was changed into two districts.
In 1955, it belongs to Xinrong District.
In February 1957, it was divided into six townships: Xinrong, Minle, zhangmuwusu, Yongsheng, Xinshe and Tuchengzi.
In February 1958, it was reorganized into Xinshe, Tuchengzi and Xinrong townships; in September of the same year, two communes, Hongqi and Dongguang, were set up.
In February 1960, Huade Town, Xinrong and Nanlin merged to form Chaoyang commune.
In February 1964, Tuchengzi commune was established.
In February 1984, Chaoyang commune was transformed into a township.
In April 2000, Chaoyang township was transformed into a town.
In 2001, Tuchengzi township was incorporated.
In February 2006, 5 administrative villages in baitubuzi Township were included.

History and culture
Chaoyang town was named chaonaogan because Mongolian herdsmen lived here at the end of Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China. It was a place with many wolves in Mongolian. Later, Han people came here one after another and changed it to Chaoyang village. The town was named after the village.

Minle NAO is located in the southeast of Chaoyang Town, Huade County, 15 kilometers away from the county seat of Huade County, covering an area of nearly 200 hectares. It is a natural Nao for fishery production, and the most famous is hairy crab.
