Huangtaigang Town, Wancheng District, Nanyang city is located 15 kilometers south of Nanyang City, with a land area of 90.7 square kilometers (in 2017), a cultivated land area of 85000 Mu and a total population of 51540 people (in 2017). It is adjacent to Baihe River in the West and is located in the hinterland of Yahe irrigation area. Henan 22 highway, Nanjing Xi'an railway, Taiyuan Macao Expressway and 312 expressway are connected in the town. The town has a long history, simple folk customs and profound cultural heritage. There are Han, Hui, Manchu, Mongolian and other nationalities living in the town. It is the hometown of Fan Li, the "sage of Commerce" in ancient China, and the place of Liu Xiutun soldiers in the Eastern Han Dynasty.
