Wumu township is located in the southern mountainous area of Lingbao City, Henan Province. S246 provincial road and (Bao) Zhu (Yang) highway pass through it, crossing Xiaoqinling and Gushan mountains. There are 7 streams directly flowing into Jianhe river from Changqiao village in the north to yaoponian in Xiangcheng village. Wumu township is rich in cement stone resources. Wumu Township mainly produces grain, fruit, tobacco, forestry, animal husbandry, traditional Chinese medicine and limestone, which has strong industrial advantages.

The structure and layout of the eight leading industries of fruit, tobacco, fungus, forestry, medicine, animal husbandry, grass and vegetable are further rationalized, and the agricultural characteristic industrial bases of 868 hectares of high-quality tobacco, 2397 hectares of pollution-free apples, 2.06 million bags of edible fungi, 10000 mu of traditional Chinese medicine, 149 hectares of pollution-free vegetables, and 1317 hectares of grain for green have been initially formed. Among them, tobacco was identified as the demonstration township of tobacco production technology and standardized management in Henan Province, and edible fungi was rated as the production base township of edible fungi in Henan Province.

(1) Fruit production. The average output value per mu is 1414.06 yuan, the average income of tobacco growers is 7900 yuan, and the average income of tobacco leaves in the township is 470 yuan.

(3) Traditional Chinese medicine production. According to the production mode of "company + base + farmer", on the one hand, we should strengthen technical guidance and carry out scientific management of existing Chinese herbal medicines; on the other hand, we should adjust planting varieties in time according to local conditions. In that year, 180 hectares of traditional Chinese medicines such as Radix Isatidis, Radix Angelicae dahuricae, Chrysanthemum morifolium, Scutellaria baicalensis and Radix ginseng were planted, with a total area of 426 hectares.

(5) Animal husbandry production. During the year, one specialized village, 16 specialized farms and 130 specialized households were newly developed, reaching 16, 75 and 1086 households respectively. Animal husbandry: Wumu township has a large area of barren hills and slopes, and has a good foundation of animal husbandry based on grazing.
