Shijing street is located in the south of Fuyi District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. It is adjacent to pangguang street and Taiping tourist area in the East and Southeast, Laoyu tourist area in the South and southwest, Yuchan street in the West and northwest, and the remaining streets and Ganting street in the northeast, with a total area of 417.63 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Shijing street has 15 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. In 2018, 29337 people registered residence in Shijing. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Shijing Street reached 84 million yuan, the total industrial output value reached 495 million yuan, and the total social commodity sales reached 360 million yuan.

The origin of place names
During the reign of Hongzhi in Ming Dynasty, a well was built in the village, which was named for its abundant water and its office in Shijing village.
History of construction
After 1949, it was Sanquan Township, Shijing Township, Laohui Township and Jiuhua Township in the Second District of Huxian county (Luoshi District).
In 1958, it was the Laohui management area and Sanquan management area of the remaining communes.
In 1961, Shijing commune was established on the basis of Laohui management area and Sanquan management area.
In May 1984, Shijing township was established.
In May 2002, it merged with Laoyu town to form Shijing town; in August 2002, it established the Management Committee of Laoyu tourist area, and the former Laoyu town and Shijing town were set up separately.
On January 8, 2021, the people's Government of Weiyi District of Xi'an City abolished Shijing town and established Shijing street, with the administrative area of Shijing town as the administrative area of Shijing street.
