Juncheng Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Tang County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the west of Tang County, adjacent to qijiazuo Township and mincheng Township in the East, Quyang County in the southwest, Shimen Township in the West and Yangjiao Township in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 10.6 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 13.7 km, covering a total area of 97 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total population of military towns registered residence was 23153.
Juncheng town was an important military area in ancient times, and Juncheng village was set up in the first year of yonghei in Northern Song Dynasty (984). In 1953, the army was established in urban and rural areas. In 1958, Juncheng commune was established. In 1984, it was changed into Juncheng. In January 1996, it merged with shuiyukou township to build a military town. As of June 2020, Juncheng town has jurisdiction over 23 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Daoyuan village. Juncheng town is the planting site of Tangxian jujube, a national geographical indication product of China.
