Laishui Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Laishui County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the southeast of Laishui County, facing Wangcun town across Juma River in the East, Mingyi Town, hujiazhuang town and Yi'an town in the south, dongwenshan town in the West and shiting town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 6.5 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 13.8 km, with a total area of 44.31 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the total population of Laishui town registered residence was 37834.
In August 1958, it belonged to Chengguan commune. In January 1984, it was changed into Chengguan Township. In June 1984, Chengguan Township was transformed into a town. In April 1988, it was renamed Laishui town. As of June 2020, Laishui town has 8 neighborhood committees and 16 village committees, and the people's Government of Laishui town is located at 75 Chaoyang Road, Laishui county. Laishui town for China's national geographical indication products - Laishui walnut planting land, has the national heritage protection unit - Xigang tower.
