Fengjiang town

Fengjiang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Jiexi County, Jieyang City, Guangdong Province, is located in the southeast of Jiexi County, 40 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Rongjiang River in the East, across the river from Mianhu Town, Jinhe town in the west, tatau town in the north and Meitang town in Puning City in the south, with a total area of 34.66 square kilometers. In 1951, fengjiang district was designated by Fengan District, later known as the Sixth District. In 1957, it was renamed fengjiang township. In 1958, it was incorporated into Mianhu people's commune. In 1961, fengjiang people's commune was demolished from Mianhu people's commune. In October 1983, it was called fengjiang district. In 1986, it was renamed fengjiang town.
