Gaoweizhuang town

Gaoweizhuang Town, belonging to Shan county of Heze City, Shandong Province, is located in the southwest of Shan county. It is connected with Fugang town in the East, Limin town of Yucheng County across the old Yellow River in the south, qingyuji town of Caoxian County in the West and gaolaojia town in the north. The area is 63.37 square kilometers. In 2018, 48080 people registered residence.

In April 1958, gaoweizhuang township was established. In May 1963, it was changed into gaoweizhuang commune. In December 1983, gaoweizhuang commune was abolished and gaoweizhuang town was established. In June 2020, gaoweizhuang town governs 19 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 42 industrial enterprises in gaoweizhuang Town, including 15 industrial enterprises above Designated Size and 126 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In April 1958, gaoweizhuang township was set up. In September of the same year, iron and steel commune was established and later renamed Shuangmiao commune.

In May 1963, it was changed into gaoweizhuang commune.

In December 1983, gaoweizhuang commune was abolished and gaoweizhuang town was established.

The town people's government is stationed in gaoweizhuang village.
