Shilianzi town

Shilianzi town has a long history. There is a 5000 year old Dawenkou cultural site in Dunhou village. It belonged to the state of Ju in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, and was assigned to the county of Ju in Langya County in the Qin Dynasty. It belonged to the seventh district of Ju county in the Republic of China. It belonged to the seventh district of Junan County in July 1939. It was renamed shilianzi Township in January 1958, Xukou commune in January 1960, shilianzi commune in October 1981, and shilianzi commune was abolished on April 15, 1984 At the same time, the township party committee was established. In November 1985, Xiaoguanzhuang township was renamed Wangjiagou township. In December 1994, the provincial government approved the establishment of tingshui town. In December 1996, the provincial government approved the establishment of shilianzi town. In 2011, shilianzi town was merged with tingshui Town, belonging to Junan county.

Shilianzi town is located in the northwest of Junan County, 27.5km away from the county seat. It is located at the junction of four counties and districts. It is adjacent to Yinan county and Rizhao Ju county in the north, Daokou town in the south, Hedong District of Linyi City in the west, and Dadian town across Shuhe River in the East, with a total area of 119.54km2. The terrain is mainly plain and hilly, with plain area accounting for 30%, hilly area accounting for 70% and cultivated land area of 6702 hectares. It has jurisdiction over 61 administrative villages and 73 natural villages. 62782 (2017).

In 1951, it belonged to tingshui district. In 1942, it belonged to julinbian county. In 1945, it belonged to Junan county. In 1958, it set up Xukou commune. In 1984, it set up shilianzi township. In 1996, it covers an area of 69 square kilometers and has a population of 43000. At the end of 1996, shilianzi township was abolished and shilianzi town was established. In November 2011, tingshui town was abolished and merged into shilianzi town.

Economic situation

In 2013, shilianzi town completed fixed asset investment of 701 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23.1%; realized local fiscal revenue of 29.93 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 36%; realized national tax revenue of 7.46 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.42%; local tax revenue of 28.14 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 38.51%; and per capita net income of farmers of 10894 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.5%.
