Qianguan town
Qianguan Town, belonging to Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, is located in the south central part of Yunnan county, adjacent to Luoding City, Dawan town and Hekou town in the East, Luoding City in the South and West, Tongmen town and Dafang town in the north. In 2003, Daquan town was merged into Qianguan town.
Qianguan town is located in Dawan Town, Dafang town and Daquan center of Yunan County, known as the "three thousand" commodity distribution center. Qianguan town is located in low mountains and hills, high in the West and low in the East, with subtropical monsoon climate. With a total area of 183.48 square kilometers, the town governs 19 villages and 2 communities, with a total population of 47930 (2017). In 2011, the total output value of the town was 294 million yuan, and the total output value of industry and agriculture was 383 million yuan.
Historical evolution
Qianguan was originally named guanning, which was built in Yuan Dynasty and became a Polder in Ming Dynasty. Because the polder was in cross shape, it was named shiguanwei. Later, a Confucian thought that there was no official here, so it was renamed qianguanwei.
In Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was guanning, the capital of Changjing, and Jinhua. During the period of the Republic of China, it was initially called Suijing Township, and later merged with Daning, Daquan and Shilian township to be called Dalian township. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was initially named Qianguan administrative village. In 1953, it was renamed Qianguan Township, under the jurisdiction of the Fifth District. In 1958, it was under the jurisdiction of the people's commune of July 1. In 1961, it was divided into Qianguan people's commune. In 1983, it was called Qianguan district. In 1987, it was called Qianguan town.
In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it belonged to daquanpu, the capital of Changjing. According to the annals of Ning County, Daquan lived in Fuji and cultivated mountains and fields. In the Republic of China, it was named Daquan township at the beginning, and then merged with Daning Township, Shilian Township and Suijing township. At the beginning of the people's Republic of China, it was called kuiwang administrative village, which was under the jurisdiction of the Fifth District. In 1953, it was renamed Daquan township. In 1958, it was an administrative area of the July 1 people's commune. In 1961, Daquan people's commune was set up from the July 1st people's commune, and this district was determined. In 1983, it was called Daquan District, and in 1987, it was named today.
In December 2003, Daquan town was abolished and merged into Qianguan town.

The rivers flowing through Qianguan town include Yunxiao River, Dafang River and Qianguan river. Qianguan river runs through the whole town from west to East and flows through Dawan town to Nanjiang river.

Qianguan town mainly grows rice, peanut, MUCI, longan, mango, Huanglan, Wulan, bergamot, Morinda officinalis, pig and livestock. Forest products are pine, fir, cinnamon, bamboo and so on. By 2005, it has developed into a 10000 mu fruit corridor dominated by Shuanglong mango and Qianguan longan, with 70000 mu of high-quality cinnamon base, with an annual output of nearly 600 tons of cinnamon, ranking the first in the county; the planting scale of county brand green fruit seedless yellow peel and Shatangju is large; using a company adjacent to Dawan to breed broilers with "company + farmer" management, the broiler production of the whole town reached more than 7 million in 2005.

From 2001 to 2005, the whole town invested 27.93 million yuan in highway construction and reconstructed 22.8 kilometers of highways, including 7.8 kilometers of provincial Shuichang line, 12 kilometers of county Qianda line and 3 kilometers of Yunkang line. The Qianda line reconstruction project was completed and opened to traffic in 2001. In 2006, a total of 7.5 million yuan was invested to complete the 2 km reconstruction project of Shuimei section of the provincial highway Shuichang line, build 2 highway bridges, and lay 6 km old Qianguan Daquan highway. By the end of 2006, all the 19 villages in the town had realized the road hard bottom.

Qianguan town made its first plan for Weizhen town in 1984. In 1995, it revised the commercial and residential development planning area, carried out large-scale infrastructure construction, and improved the supporting facilities such as hard bottom street, water supply, power supply, telecommunications, market, culture, education, health, catering services, etc. It is one of the central towns in the south of Yunan County. The waterworks can supply 10000 cubic meters of water a day. The total installed capacity of the hydropower station in the town is 300 kilowatts. There is a 35000 volt substation.
In 2018, Qianguan town actively implemented the Rural Revitalization Strategy, fully promoted the comprehensive improvement of human settlements environment, and promoted the rural ecological revitalization. Five poverty-stricken villages in Qianguan town have fully completed the task of environmental improvement, with the utilization rate of funds reaching 96.92%. In 2018, the town carried out comprehensive improvement of human settlements in nine villages, basically completed the "three cleaning, three demolition and three improvement", with a total demolition of about 100000 square meters of dilapidated houses, pigsty and cattle pen.

In 2011, Qianguan cultural station was one of the only two provincial special cultural stations in the county, and the cultural square and cultural center were rated as "Top Ten Cultural Square" and "top ten cultural center" by the city.
