Nanhuang town
Nanhuang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Rushan City, Weihai City, Shandong Province, is located in the east of Rushan City, adjacent to Xiaoguan town of Wendeng City in the East, Yellow Sea in the south, Dagushan town and Xujia town in the west, and Fengjia town in the north, with an administrative area of 89.33 square kilometers.
Nanhuang town was originally the Tenth District of Muping County; in 1950, it was the Fourth District of Rushan County; in March 1984, it was established as Nanhuang town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Nanhuang town was 24544. As of June 2020, Nanhuang town has 33 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
In 2018, the total industrial and agricultural output value of Nanhuang town was 378 million yuan. Among them, the total industrial output value is 41 million yuan and the total agricultural output value is 337 million yuan. The total income of rural economy is 2.412 billion yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers is 15895 yuan. History of construction
Nanhuang town was the Tenth District of Muping County.
In 1941, it was subordinate to the Tenth District of mouhai county
In 1942, it belonged to the fourth district.
In 1945, it was renamed Nanhuang district.
In 1950, it belonged to the Fourth District of Rushan county.
In 1951, there were 13 townships in the district.
In September 1955, it was renamed the South Yellow area.
In 1956, 13 townships were merged as big townships, belonging to Nanhuang, Wantou and Tanbu townships in Nanhuang district.
In July 1957, the district was withdrawn, and each township was directly subordinate to the county.
In February 1958, Wantou township was merged into Nanhuang township; in September of the same year, Tanbu township was merged into Nanhuang Township and Nanhuang commune was established; in October of the same year, Yangcun commune was merged; in December of the same year, the organizational system of Rushan county was abolished and changed to Wendeng County.
In October 1961, after the reestablishment of Rushan County, the former Tanbu Township remained in Wendeng County, and the rest returned to Rushan county.
In December 1962, the Yangcun commune was abolished.
In March 1984, Nanhuang town was established.

As of June 2020, there are 33 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Nanhuang Town, and the town people's government is located at 176 Tengfei Road, Nanhuang village.

Nanhuang town is located in the east of Rushan City, adjacent to Xiaoguan town of Wendeng City in the East, Yellow Sea in the south, Dagushan town and Xujia town in the west, and Fengjia town in the north, with an administrative area of 89.33 square kilometers.

Most of the land in Nanhuang town is hilly and gentle slope land, and the terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast. The highest point in the territory is located in the main peak of Lushan Mountain in the northwest, with an altitude of about 310 meters; the lowest point is xilangnuan village, with an altitude of 3.5 meters.

Nanhuang town belongs to Huanglei river system. Huanglei river originates from Kunyu Mountain in Muping, flows through tangnanshan village in the town, and flows into the Yellow Sea in xilangnuan village, with a length of 18 km.
natural disaster
The main natural disasters in Nanhuang town are hail, drought, waterlogging, wind, low temperature, frost, lightning and so on. The most serious waterlogging was in 1938, when the Huanglei river burst in summer, more than 3000 mu of land in xilangnuan village was not collected, and more than 50 houses collapsed.
