Lidao

Lingdao Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Rongcheng City, Weihai City, Shandong Province, is located in the east of Rongcheng City, and is adjacent to the Yellow Sea in the East and south, and connected with the street of seeking mountain in the southwest, Xiazhuang town and busiu town in the West and Chengshan town in the north. The administrative area is 106.14 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of Lidao town registered residence was 33947.

In January 1964, Lin village commune was restored; in May of the same year, it was renamed Madao commune. In April 1984, it was changed to slang Island town and Madao township. In 1989, Ma Dao was withdrawn from the township to build a town. In April 2001, Madao town was incorporated into the town of slang island. As of june2020, slang Island town has a community and 71 administrative villages.
