Hongwu Road Street

Hongwu Road street belongs to Qinhuai District of Nanjing city. It is located in the north central part of Qinhuai District. It was founded in June 1955. It extends to Qinhuai River in Dazhong bridge and Fucheng bridge in the East, Zhongshan South Road in the west, Xinjiekou to Changfu street, Hubu street and yangpi Lane in the North, and Confucius Temple in the south. The tributaries of Qinhuai river run from east to west, covering an area of about 2.73 square kilometers. Longwangmiao street was established in 1955. It was merged with Huaihai Road Street to form Huaihai branch of Baixia commune in 1960. Longwangmiao street was restored in 1962, changed to Hongwei street in 1967, renamed Hongwu Road Street in 1976, and merged into Mafu street in 1988. In 1996, it covers an area of 1.8 square kilometers and has a population of 48000. It has jurisdiction over 20 neighborhood committees, including Mafu street, Baixia Road, Wufu lane, Huhu lane, mianxieying, Shenjia lane, Malu street, chengzuoying, Taiping lane, jiuliantang, huowa lane, Longwangmiao, Hubu street, Hongnan, chengtulao lane, wuxueyuan, tinghou street, Guangyi street, waqiao and guilianying.

Jiankang road street was established in 1955. In 1960, it merged with Zhonghua Road Street to form Zhuque Road branch of Baixia commune. In 1962, it was divided into two streets. In February 1988, it merged again to establish Jiankang road street. In 1996, it covers an area of 0.9 square kilometers and has a population of 40000. In 2004, Hongwu Road sub district office was located at No. 24, 48 village, xiaohuowa lane, with an area of 1.15 square kilometers and a population of 46324. Jiankang road sub district office is located at No. 86, Changbai street, with an area of 0.87 square kilometers and a population of 43613. Jiankang new village community

Jiankang new village community takes the intersection of Changbai street and Baixia road as the axis, the south direction of Changbai street and the east direction of Baixia road as the side axis, the Dazhong bridge in the East and the Qinhuai River in the south to Huaiqing bridge as the side arc. The area is 0.34 square kilometers and the registered residence is 21 thousand. It is adjacent to the downtown area of Confucius temple outside and the market around Peking University inside. It is the largest, most populous and complex community in Hongwu Road.

Wangfuyuan community

Wangfuyuan community is close to the prosperous area of Confucius Temple. The community is adjacent to Baixia road in the north, Huiyuan street and Fuxi street in the south, Taiping South Road in the East and Zhongshan South Road in the West. Covering an area of about 0.3 square kilometers, it has 4260 households and 11789 people. There are 13 social workers, 350 square meters of office space, 98 residential buildings, 11 residential areas, 185 residential groups and 9545 permanent residents in the community, which are divided into 15 grids. There are 103 households with subsistence allowances, 50 marginal households and 110 poor households. There are three educational institutions in the community, including Nanjing No.1 middle school, huixiao kindergarten and wangfuyuan kindergarten. There are dozens of units such as Jiangsu entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Dongheng International Group and Hongye international group. There are also service facilities such as community health service station, cultural station and residents' fitness square.
