Jianzhong Town, belonging to Linxi County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, is located in the south of Linxi County, with daliuzhuang Township in the East, Yandian town and Tangyuan township of Linqing County in Shandong Province in the south across the Wei canal, caochang township of Guantao County in the southwest, Yaoan Township in the West and Linxi County in the north. It is 12 kilometers away from the people's Government of Linxi County, with a total area of 60 square kilometers.

In 1950, Jianzhong town was divided into districts, belonging to Linqing County, Handan special office of Hebei Province; in May 1985, it was changed from Jianzhong township to Jianzhong town. As of June 2020, Jianzhong town has 25 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of Jianzhong town is located in dongjianzhong village.

History of construction

In 1950, Jianzhong town was divided into districts, belonging to Linqing County, Handan special office of Hebei Province.

In 1952 and 1953, it was transferred to Dezhou and Liaocheng special offices of Shandong Province.

In 1953, it was renamed Jianzhong district.

In 1957, Jianzhong district was changed into Jianzhong township.

In 1958, Jianzhong township was changed into Jianzhong commune.

In 1964, Jianzhong commune reestablished Jianzhong district.

In December 1964, it was assigned to Xingtai special district of Hebei Province, belonging to Linxi Working Committee.

In 1965, it belongs to Linxi County.

At the end of July 1966, Jianzhong district was changed into Jianzhong commune.

In 1984, Jianzhong commune was changed into Jianzhong township.

In May 1985, Jianzhong township was changed into Jianzhong town.

In November 1996, Fancun township was merged into Jianzhong town.
