It was established in January 2013 with the approval of Shandong provincial government. In January 2013, according to the reply of Shandong Provincial People's Government on agreeing to adjust some administrative divisions of Huaiyin District in Jinan City, Jinan municipal government agreed to cancel duandian town and wujiapu town and set up four sub district offices, namely Xingfu, Yuqinghu, Lashan and wujiapu.
Yuqinghu sub district office has jurisdiction over 21 villages in yuanduandian Town, including xiaolizhuang, xinpangzhuang, shitouzhuang, Zhuzhuang, Hequan, Dalizhuang, xiwangfuzhuang, magou, dongxietun, youlizhuang, Gucheng, langlizhuang, Tianjiazhuang, mulizhuang, changqitun, Songjiaqiao, xiaoyangzhuang, Longwangmiao, Songzhuang, beibali and nanbali. The office is located at 3809 jingshixi Road.
