Songshu Town, belonging to Liangzhou District, Wuwei City, Gansu Province, is located in the west of Liangzhou District, adjacent to Baishu Township in the southeast, Qilian town in Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County in the south, Xiying Township in the West and Huaian town in the north. History of construction
From the Western Han Dynasty to the Wei Dynasty, Songshu town belonged to guzang County, Wuwei County.
From the Western Jin Dynasty to the "five cool" period of the Sixteen States, it belonged to Yanran county and Wuxing county respectively.
From the Northern Wei Dynasty to the early Sui Dynasty, it belonged to Linzhong county and Xiangcheng County of Wuwei County.
During the Tang and Song Dynasties, it belonged to Shenniao county.
In the Yuan Dynasty, it belonged to Liangzhou in the west of Yongchang Road.
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was successively returned to liangzhouwei county and Wuwei County.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Xiying township.
After September 1949, it belonged to Xiying district.
In July 1952, it belonged to the seventh district (Xiying).
In January 1956, it was Pine Town.
In October 1958, Songshu and Xiying Township merged to form Xiying commune.
In 1962, the pine commune was established.
In July 1983, Songshu township was established.
In September 2015, the township was removed to build a town.
