Jindian Town, belonging to Neiqiu County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, is located in the east of Neiqiu County, bordering Dongliang township of Longyao County in the East, Datun township of Renze District in the southeast, Guanzhuang town in the south, wuguodian Township and Neiqiu town in the west, and Shuangbei township of Longyao County in the north. It is 6.6km away from the people's Government of Neiqiu County, with a total area of 99.2km.

In 1947, Yaoshan county was transferred to Neiqiu County, belonging to Guanzhuang district; in 1985, Jindian township was changed to Jindian town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence in Jindian town was 70275. As of June 2020, there are 47 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Jindian Town, and the town people's government is located in Jindian village.

History of construction

In 1947, Yaoshan county was assigned to Neiqiu County, belonging to Guanzhuang district.

In June 1950, it was assigned to Chengguan District.

In June 1953, jintidian township was set up, which still belongs to Chengguan District.

In August 1958, it was changed into Dongfeng (jintidian) commune.

In May 1968, it was renamed Jindian commune.

In October 1985, it was changed into Jindian township; in the same year, it was changed from Jindian township to Jindian town.

In January 1996, Heju township was merged into Jindian town.
