Big town is a town under the jurisdiction of Gao'an city in Yichun, Jiangxi Province. Located in the east of Gao'an City, it is the western suburb of Nanchang city. It is 21 kilometers away from Gaoan City, 38 kilometers away from Nanchang, the provincial capital, 170 kilometers away from Jiujiang port, and 40 kilometers away from Changbei Airport, covering an area of 138.8 square kilometers. It has a permanent resident population of 29099 people (in 2017). It is commonly spoken in Gan language and belongs to the Jiangyou ethnic group of the Han nationality.
