Laoshan Township
Laoshan Township belongs to Ganquan County, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the north of Ganquan County, adjacent to Nanniwan town in Baota District in the East, Chengguan Street in the south, Shimen town in the West and Liulin town in Baota District in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 19.8 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 15.1 km, with a total area of 201.47 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, there are six administrative villages in Laoshan rural area. As of 2018, the registered residence population of Laoshan township was 6128. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Laoshan township was 30.21 million yuan, and the total industrial output value was 3.85 million yuan.
Historical evolution
It is named after Laoshan. According to the records of Yan'an Fu Zhi, song general Di Qing was at war with Xixia. The two armies confronted each other, and the soldiers were tired. The two sides had a truce. Di Bu rested in the mountains, so he was named Laoshan.
