Chitian town
Chitian town is a town under the jurisdiction of Fengxin County, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province. Located in the southeast of Fengxin County, adjacent to Anyi County in the East and Gao'an city in the south, it is known as the "South Gate" of Fengxin. The government is located in shiwuliting, which is close to Fengxin Nanchang trunk road, covering an area of 128.12 square kilometers. It governs 15 administrative villages (farms), 124 villager groups, 25729 permanent residents (in 2017), 46907 mu of cultivated land (41270 mu of paddy field, 5637 mu of dry land), 70000 mu of woodland, 161 reservoirs and ponds, and more than 40000 mu of water surface.
Chitian Town, formerly known as Luotang commune, was changed to Luotang Township in March 1984, gangzui Township in December 1984, and Chitian township at the end of 1986. With the approval of the provincial people's government, Chitian township was established as a town in December 1999.

In 2014, the gross national product of the town was 240 million yuan, including 96 million yuan of agricultural output value, 144 million yuan of industrial output value, 9.439 million yuan of fiscal revenue, and 4626 yuan of per capita annual net income of farmers. History and culture
Chitian town has rich cultural heritage and many places of interest. Historical celebrities include: Zhang Xun (1854-1923), whose name is Shaoxuan, a native of Chitian village, a warlord and successive governor in the Wei Dynasty of the Qing Dynasty; Xu Zhen (1827-1899), whose name is Xianping, a native of Gaogang village, a governor of the two rivers in the Wei Dynasty of the Qing Dynasty, and a governor of Guangdong Province.
