Gucun town
Gucun Town, under the jurisdiction of Ningdu County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the southeast of Ningdu County, bordering on Shicheng County and Ruijin city. Shiji, Yingrui expressway, national highway 356 and provincial highway 448 pass through the border. It is an important transportation and border trade town in the southeast of Ningdu. It is 42 kilometers away from the county seat and has jurisdiction over 18 administrative villages, 1 community, 283 village groups and 1 town run farm. Historical evolution
During the period of the Republic of China, it was a solid village.
In April 1951, the 11th district was established; in 1958, liming commune was established; in 1961, gaigu village commune was established; in 1984, Gaixiang commune was established.
On September 29, 1995, Gucun township was abolished and Gucun town was established.
