Longyuanba town

Longyuanba town is located in the northwest of QUANNAN County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, 30 kilometers away from the county seat, adjacent to Pitou town in the East, xiaoyedong forest farm in the south, Nanxiong City and Shixing County in Guangdong Province in the West. With a total land area of 263 square kilometers, the whole suspension line and Shangwen line run through the whole territory from north to south.

Historical evolution

Before liberation, longyuanba Township belonged to the third district of QUANNAN County, and at the beginning of liberation it belonged to the Second District of QUANNAN county. In 1956, longyuanba district was set up, with jurisdiction over longyuanba, Zhushan, Potou, Huangsha and other townships. In 1958, longyuanba commune was established, and it was divided into the third branch of state-owned Bayi reclamation farm. In 1960, longyuanba commune was established, which was named after longyuanba village. In 1984, longyuanba commune was established and replaced as longyuanba township. In December 2001, it was merged with Pingshan village and Luxing village under the jurisdiction of yuanzhaixiaxiang and xiaoyedong forest farm to build the town.
