Xiaosuangou Town, belonging to Shangyi County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the southeast of Shangyi County, adjacent to jiashihe Township in the East, Wanquan county and Huai'an County across the Great Wall in the south, Xinghe County of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the west, and Hongtuliang town in the north. It is 33.5 kilometers away from Shangyi County People's government, with a total area of 372.84 square kilometers.
In May 1934, Xiaosuangou town belonged to wulahada township of Zhangbei County; in 1996, Xiaosuangou Township and wuluangou Township merged into Xiaosuangou town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Xiao Yan Gou town was 10733. As of June 2020, Xiaosuangou town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 17 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Xiaosuangou village.

History of construction
In May 1934, Xiaosuangou town belonged to wulahada township of Zhangbei County.
In October 1949, it was the Fifth District of Shangyi County.
In August 1956, Xiaosuangou township was established.
In August 1958, Xiaosuangou commune was established.
In May 1984, Xiaosuangou commune was changed into Xiaosuangou township.
In 1996, Xiaosuangou Township and wuluangou Township merged into Xiaosuangou town.
