Caifang Township

Caifang Township, belonging to Anyuan County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the north of Anyuan County, adjacent to Tianxin town in the northeast, Banshi town and Chongshi town in the west, and Gaoyunshan town in the south. As of May 2019, Caifang Township covers an area of 105.77 square kilometers, governs four administrative villages and has a population of 6400.

Caifang township is 38 kilometers away from the county seat, and 13 kilometers away from Anyuan Ganzhou highway.

It has four administrative villages with a population of 4474 (in 2010). The village is simple, beautiful and harmonious with nature. The forest coverage rate reaches 80%. Shihu Village

Shihu village is located in the west of Caifang Township, with a population of 1623, 953 mu of arable land, 670 mu of orchard and 15149 mu of woodland. The village is the first village to enter Caifang Township from Anyuan Ganzhou highway, with convenient transportation. The village vigorously develops the edible fungus industry, with an annual output of 40 tons in 2005 and remarkable economic benefits. The village has stable social order, stable politics and good relations between cadres and the masses.

Dujiang Village

Dujiang village, located in the north of Caifang Township, has a population of 1778, with 1255 mu of cultivated land, 360 mu of orchard and 29444 mu of forest land. The village has beautiful environment and rich forestry resources. Farmers grow a large number of cash crops such as Phyllostachys pubescens and watermelon. Dujiang village vigorously develops orange processing industry, and the planting area is increasing rapidly.

Caifang Village

Caifang village, located in the south of Caifang Township, is the location of Weizhen town. It has a population of 929, with 697 mu of cultivated land, 1090 mu of orchard and 22876 mu of woodland. The village is rich in water resources. The famous Caifang hydropower station (now changed to Qiandong hydropower company) is located here. In addition, the production of pollution-free navel orange also ranks first in the township.

Qinao Village

Qinao village is located in the west of Caifang Township, with a population of 1148, 930 mu of cultivated land, 426 mu of orchard and 67216 mu of forest land. Most of the village is covered by forest, which is rich in forestry resources. The planting area of navel orange has increased greatly, and the per capita net income has increased steadily.
