Tanluo town

Tanluo town is under the jurisdiction of XiXiangTang District, Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is located in the west of XiXiangTang District, adjacent to Jinling town in the East, Jiangxi town in Jiangnan District and Zhongdong town in Fusui County in the south, Gutan town in Long'an County in the West and natong town in Long'an County in the north. The total area is 432.55 square kilometers. It has 1 communities and 20 administrative villages; as of the end of 2018, the total population of Tun Luo registered residence was 92062.

In 1877, Tanluo township was established in Xuanhua county. Before 1949, it belonged to Tanluo District of Yongning County. In 1958, the former Fushu Township and xialeng Township were merged into friendship commune, belonging to Yongning County. The next year, the friendship commune was changed into the Tanluo commune, which belonged to the suburb of Nanning. In 1961, Tanluo commune was changed into Tanluo district. In December 1968, Tanluo district was changed into Tanluo commune. In September 1984, Tanluo commune was changed into Tanluo township. In 1996, Tanluo township was changed into Tanluo town. In October 2001, Tanluo town was changed into Yongxin District of Nanning city. In September 2004, Tanluo town was changed to XiXiangTang District of Nanning city.

In 2018, there were 13 industrial enterprises in Tanluo Town, including 2 above scale and 23 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In 1877, Tanluo township was established in Xuanhua county.

Before 1949, it belonged to Tanluo District of Yongning County.

In 1958, the former Fushu Township and xialeng Township were merged into friendship commune, belonging to Yongning County. The next year, the friendship commune was changed into the Tanluo commune, which belonged to the suburb of Nanning.

In 1961, Tanluo commune was changed into Tanluo district.

In December 1968, Tanluo district was changed into Tanluo commune.

In September 1984, Tanluo commune was changed into Tanluo township.

In 1989, there were 15 village offices and 99 village committees in Tanluo township.

In 1996, Tanluo township was changed into Tanluo town.

In October 2001, Tanluo town was changed into Yongxin District of Nanning city.

In September 2004, Tanluo town was changed to XiXiangTang District of Nanning city.

At the end of 2011, Tanluo town had 19 villagers' committees including Tanluo, Zhuhu, Fengping, Wukang, Weizhong, Mulun, Shangzhong, xialeng, Natan, qunnan, Hezhi, Sanjing, Tongfu fufu, dingdun, Zhongbei, SHANGZHENG, Dongjia and Qinglin, and 297 villagers' groups.

As of June 2020, Tanluo town governs one community in Jinguang community, and 20 administrative villages in Tanluo village, Zhuhu village, Fengping village, Dongjia village, Shangzhong village, Zhongbei village, dingdun village, qunnan village, Qinglin village, Weizhong village, Wukang village, Natan village, SHANGZHENG village, xialeng village, Malun village, Fushu village, Sanjing village, Tongfu village, Hezhi village and Tantang village. The people's government is stationed in Tanluo village.

Tanluo town is located in the west of XiXiangTang District, with Jinling town in the East, Jiangxi town in Jiangnan District and Zhongdong town in Fusui County in the south, Gutan town in Long'an County in the West and natong town in Long'an County in the north. It is 35 kilometers away from Nanning. The maximum distance from east to west is 22.8 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 28.2 kilometers, with a total area of 432.55 square kilometers.
