Zhaitang town
Zhaitang town, a town under the jurisdiction of Mentougou District, Beijing, is located between 115 ° 32'46 "~ 115 ° 50'07" E and 39 ° 54'02 "~ 40 ° 08'00" n. It is located in the western mountainous area of Mentougou District, adjacent to Yanchi town and Datai street in the East, Da'anshan township of Fangshan District in the south, Qingshui town in the West and Guanting town of Huailai County in the north, covering an area of 382.17 square kilometers.
In Tang Dynasty, Zhaitang area belonged to Guangping county. During the Liao and Jin Dynasties, it belonged to Yuhe county. From the Yuan Dynasty to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it belonged to Wanping County, and later to Zhaitang Township, eight districts of Wanping county. During the Anti Japanese War, the Eighth Route Army entered zhaitangchuan and built Pingxi Anti Japanese base, belonging to changwan county. After liberation, it belonged to Wanping County, Hebei Province. In 1952, it belongs to Beijing Jingxi mining area. In 1958, it belonged to Mentougou District. In February 1990, Zhaitang town was established. In 1994, urban and rural areas along the river were merged. In 2001, Junxiang township was incorporated. By the end of 2018, the population of Zhai town had 13677 registered residence. As of October 2019, Zhaitang town has one community and 29 administrative villages, and the town government is located at No. 45, East Zhaitang street, Zhaitang town.
In 2011, the total industrial output value of Zhaitang town reached 78.02 million yuan, an increase of 26.7% over the previous year, and the industrial added value was 16.42 million yuan. In July 2020, the National Patriotic Health Campaign Committee reconfirmed Zhaitang town as a national health township.

In Tang Dynasty, Zhaitang area belonged to Guangping county.
During the Liao and Jin Dynasties, Zhaitang area belonged to Yuhe county.
From the Yuan Dynasty to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Zhaitang area belonged to Wanping County, and later to Zhaitang township of eight districts in Wanping county.
During the Anti Japanese War, the Eighth Route Army entered zhaitangchuan in Zhaitang area and built Pingxi Anti Japanese base area, belonging to changwan county.
After liberation, Zhaitang area belongs to Wanping County, Hebei Province.
In 1952, Zhaitang area belongs to Beijing Jingxi mining area.
