Meixing town

Meixing town is located in Xiaojin County, the seat of Xiaojin county Party committee and county government of Siguniang mountain national scenic spot. It is the political, economic, cultural and information center of the whole county, with an altitude of 2367 meters, 293 kilometers away from Chengdu and 143 kilometers away from malkang. The Tibetan people call it "Meinuo" (Jiarong, meaning the place below).

Meixing town

It was the seat of Meinuo Zhili Hall (MaoGong Tunwu Hall) and MaoGong tunzhi in the Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty. It was established as the seat of county government in 1914. Before liberation, Meixing town had jurisdiction over some areas of Meixing, Chongde, Meiwo and Laoying township. After liberation, the people's Government of Meixing town was established in 1952, and Chongde and Meiwo were set up in 1954. In 1959, Meixing town was rebuilt as Meixing commune factory. In 1962, the old camp was set up as commune. Meixing town and Meixing commune were set up separately in town and countryside. In 1966, Meixing town was renamed Honghui Town, and it has been restored since 1978.

The mosque was built in yingtun after Qianlong's two expeditions to Jinchuan. In 1808, Ma Wenbin and others of xiezhen Dufu chose the current address to rebuild the mosque.
