Zhangwan town

Zhangwan Town, Jiaocheng District, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is located in the east of Jiaocheng District, Ningde City. It is adjacent to Qidu Town and Jinhan she township of Jiaocheng District, and is close to the sea in the southeast. Historical evolution

In December 1950, it was the second district with seven districts. In October 1955, it was renamed Zhangwan district. Zhangwan people's commune was established in 1958. In August 1961, Zhangwan district was restored. Zhangwan commune was established in 1959 and renamed Zhangwan people's commune in July 1966. In October 1984, Zhangwan people's commune was abolished and Zhangwan township was established. in November 1985, it was changed to town system. In 1997, it had jurisdiction over 25 village committees and Zhangjiang neighborhood committees in Zhangwan, wangkeng, menxia, zengban, Zhengqi, Gongyu, Xikou, Wutou, Lantian, Xiafan, Mashan, guanjing, Tangwan, Houwan, Shangtang, Xiatang, Niaoyu, Guanhu, Leidong, Cangxi, Haiying, Shuishang, Aojiang, Nancheng and yijiatang.
