In January 1925, it belonged to the western suburb of Beijing. In August 1945, it belonged to the four suburbs of Peking. In January 1949, it belongs to the 18th District of Beiping city. In July, it belongs to the 16th district. October is the 13th district. In July 1952, the thirteenth district was renamed Haidian District. In June 1953, Zhenwu temple, nanyingfang and Sanlihe Township were set up in Haidian District. In March 1956, zhenwumiao, nanyingfang and Sanlihe were divided into Xidan district, and zhenwumiao street and nanyingfang street were established. On September 27, 1958, zhenwumiao street and nanyingfang street were merged into Yuetan Street, belonging to Xicheng District.
