Xiyang Town, belonging to Yongji County, Jilin City, Jilin Province, is located in the middle of Yongji County. It borders kouqian town in the East, Shuanghe town in the south, Huangyu and Jinjia townships in the west, Chaluhe and yilaxi town in the north. History of construction
The first year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty (1851) belongs to Yongji Prefecture.
In 1913, it belonged to the sixth police district (Shuanghe town). In July, 1948, it belonged to Shuanghe town.
In February 1957, Xiyang township was established.
In August 1958, it belonged to Shuanghe commune.
In April 1961, Shuanghe commune established Xiyang commune.
In March 1983, it was changed from Xiyang commune to Xiyang township.
In January 1985, Xiyang township was changed from township to town.
Dagangzi township was merged into Xiyang town in October 2005.
